The Whitstable tennis courts hold a prime position on Whitstable's West beach, just a stone's throw from the water. Recently refurbished, these municipal courts are available for public use, and the courts can either be booked on the day or beforehand to ensure availability. Just go down to the courts and there should be someone who can help you book a court.

All ages and abilities ...

Everyone's welcome at the courts, and whilst club play sessions are organised for those wanting to stretch their game, these courts are used by players of all abilities and ages so there's no need to feel awquard if you're a complete beginner to the game. With player ages ranging from 4 - 96 yrs, whether it's singles, doubles, or just a relaxed knock-about, all are welcome and encouraged to play.

Opening times and bookings

Open 7 days a week, from 8.00 a.m till dusk, the courts can be booked by anyone.

Municipal Use

Unless otherwise stated, the courts are always available for municipal use, meaning that anyone, regardless of whether they're a club member or not can come and use them, and keeping the courts accessable and fun for the public is at the heart of the Whitstable tennis club's ethos.

Location

Located in Coastguard's Alley on Whitstable's West Beach, the Whitstable tennis courts are very close to the centre of town, and easy to find.
