The Food |
The best way to tell you about the food is to show you Wheelers menu which is at the bottom of this page. All manner of seafood is served, the recipes for which have won Wheelers' cookery book 'The Oyster Seekers' the 'Best U.K Fish and Seafood Book' award at the Gourmand World awards, and received critical acclaim from all quarters. The idea is, very simply, that the freshest, locally sourced produce of all kinds is used to make everything from scratch, even so far as using fish from boats which have returned after a single day's fishing, rather than a two week trip, to give the best possible taste to the restaurant's customers. |
Wine Wheelers does not have an alcohol liscense, so it's a stictly bring your own bottle policy, with no corcage charge. (There's a handy Threshers opposite the restaurant where you can pick up a bottle.) N.B Wheelers does not accept debit or credit cards. |
