This period cottage is located in the town of Blean, between Canterbury and Whitstable, right next to the wildlife Park, ideal for country walks, and within walking distance of two local country pubs, and the local shops. The property itself features exposed wooden beams, a bespoke hand made kitchen, a cinema tv screen in the spacious lounge with a working brick fireplace, 3 bedrooms, hardwood double galzing, and to top it all off, a large decked garden area at the rear complete with hot tub. It's country living in style.

The Location

Whilst it's just down the road from Whitstable (about an 8 minute drive), Blean does hold an allure all of its own. The Blean Woods are the largest woods in Kent, and the famous Crab and Winkle Way runs through them on the site of the world's first ever passenger railway line which ran from Whitstable to Canterbury.

This is an excellent spot for walking and cycling on the country paths just off the main road, and being just 4 miles from both Whitstable and Canterbury, provides an excellent base for exploring the local area. There are also three golf courses within a six mile radius.

The nearest of the village's two country pubs is just 100 metres away, and further on, the other country pub serves home cooked Italian food.
