Forest Woodcraft is an artistic carpentry company based in Whitstable which specialises in bespoke carpentry, and artistic woodwork.

Undertaking a wide variety of artistic commissions, as well as public-sector work, Forest Woodcraft aims to tailor their services to the client's needs and specifications, and its latest commission, an outdoor structure for Bridge school is currently on the short list for the Rouse artistic award.

Owned and run by Peter Forest, an artist and carpenter who has worked in the field for over 25 years, Forest Woodcraft is fast becoming recognized as a company which provides excellent service at all phases of the project. From design and consultation, through the development stage, and finally installation, all aspects of project management are dealt with in co-ordination with the customer to provide a personalised, efficient service you can trust.

The company takes pride in using the very best locally sourced materials, as in the case of the Bridge School project, which used Chestnut, grown locally in Blean Woods, and a working relationship with the suppliers ensures quality materials at the best price.

Forest Woodcraft also deals with household carpentry, although its speciality is combining modern efficiency into classical design practices, with the goal of a build which is sympathetic to its environment, as in the case of the lantern project, in LittleBourne, Kent.
